Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Emily O’Connor, esthetician, skin nurturer, plant lover, and the E.C.O. behind eco Skin Therapy. For nearly twenty years, I’ve created a quiet, restorative space for women who want skincare that feels grounding, intuitive, and deeply human.

My work is guided by a simple belief: caring for your skin is a way of caring for your whole self. Your skin tells the story of your rhythms, your nervous system, your pace of life—and when we give it time, touch, and attention, something beautiful unfolds.

My approach

A diverse garden with sunflowers, lavender, and various flowering plants, surrounded by lush green trees.

Organic products

Your skin is your largest organ and a direct reflection of your internal landscape. I work with whole-plant, organic products that nourish on a cellular level—no toxins, no harsh synthetics, nothing that doesn’t belong in the body. Together, we choose products and practices that support long-term health and radiance.

Nervous system support

We live fast-paced, overstimulated lives. My facials are intentionally slow and rhythmic, inviting your nervous system to settle. When the mind quiets and the breath deepens, the skin follows—softening, balancing, and returning to its natural glow.

The power of movement

Circulation is everything. Through intuitive touch, Gua Sha, facial massage, and ancient hands-on techniques, we encourage lymphatic flow, tissue nourishment, and gentle detoxification. Think of it as exercise for your face—but far more relaxing.

MORE ABOUT SERVICES

How I came to this work

As a teenager, I struggled with cystic acne. My mom brought me for monthly facials, and those appointments became a lifeline — a place where I felt cared for, understood, and seen. That experience planted the seed for the work I do today.

I earned my degree in dance from UW–Madison (which taught me everything about movement, rhythm, and the wisdom of the body), then trained extensively in the healing arts. I became a Licensed Esthetician in 2006 and completed a Dr. Hauschka certification soon after. Over the years, I’ve deepened my practice through training in Gua Sha with Cecily Braden, long-standing partnership with Laurel Whole Plant Organics, and advanced studies in facial reflexology.

My studio is truly my happy haven — a space where time slows, the senses soften, and real connection can happen. Working one-on-one with clients is meditative, heartwarming, and endlessly inspiring.
